Energy -Work <-Force->Impulse- Momentum

In the presentation and concept maps we relate  the three approaches to Mechanics: Force-Energy-Momentum. With the latter in Einsteins theory being part of a more general object that is the source for the gravitational field.

ENERGY CAN BE WORK DONE AGAINST A FORCE FIELD:

• THE PRODUCT OF A FORCE FIELD RESISTING MOTION OVER A DISPLACEMENT.

THE (RESISTING) FORCE FIELD CAN EITHER BE:

• GRAVITATIONAL FIELD SO WORK BECOMES USEFUL POTENTIAL ENERGY.

• ELECTROSTATIC FIELD AS WORK DONE BECOMES  USELESS THERMAL ENERGY OF FRICTION.
