Concept Maps of A level Syllabus
As well as the spatial continuous symmetries that give rise to conservation of energy and momentum there are discrete symmetries such flavour, colour and Strangeness. Strong breaks colour and Weak breaks Strangeness. As an aside for A level knowledge this symmetry breaking has a relationship to Parity -mirror symmetry that is broken by the Weak Interaction.
Standard model and the Eight fold way. The universe is made up of Boson and Fermions. Bosons are the exchange particles for forces. Mesons are exchange particle for the non-fundamental nuclear force-not part of standard model.

Concept Maps that collate ideas strecthing across the syllabus
Throughout course we use a guiding Law that snapshots in time of systems all possess same energy content.
Newton's laws of motion for example unify phenomena that would otherwise appear distinct.
Concept maps collate disparate ideas and provide a picture of how different viewpoints of a phenomena can resolve outstanding "how" questions (if not "why" questions).
