Tutoring
PhD in Mathematical Physics with PGCE in Science with UCL, Institute of Education offers tution.
Having both work experience and a PhD means that I can bring both broad and deep contexts to my tuition. That is, I can teach more than to the test providing insight that schools invariably have little time to bring to the syllabus but which is critical for making the informed choices in choosing your university progression.
Within mathematics for example, as a researcher in group theory I can talk about the application of symmetry principles to physics, conveying the importance of patterns and equivalence principles. Within statistics I can talk first-hand about the uses of regression models. Within physics I can promote a sense of inquiry and the search for evidence through discussions of experiments on Earth and from observations of distant stars.
